The work culture is positive and inclusive, making it a rewarding and enjoyable place to work.About the opportunityThe Team Leader, Claims is responsible for the leadership and management of the Claims Management team. The team delivers specialist claims management and provides customer service to members and stakeholders.The Team Leader has extensive contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to work collaboratively with all teams within Super SA and staff across other Government Agencies to achieve required business outcomes.About youYou will have leadership experience in a service delivery environment where services are delivered across multiple channels. In this role you will be providing direct support, supervision and leadership to team members, including overseeing the end-to-end claims process to ensure timely, accurate, and fair resolution.To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • Experience in leading a team through effective communication and developing new concepts and procedures to improve services and maximise performance.
  • Understanding of claims processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to legislation and regulatory requirements within the life insurance industry.
  • Ability to work independently within guidelines, while meeting critical deadlines and utilising excellent attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, influence and negotiate with a diverse range of clients at various levels (both verbal and written).

Remuneration
