Step into a pivotal role as a Clinical Pharmacist - Cardiology at Westmead Hospital, where you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centred pharmaceutical care in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment.Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to the Cardiology UnitEnsure safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication managementActively engage in clinical governance, research, and educationDevelop protocols, promote stewardship, and support quality careMentor staff, collaborate with teams, and support continuous improvementHow to Apply

Must satisfy Grade 2 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award.Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRASelection Criteria:Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).Demonstrated experience in clinical hospital pharmacy practice in cardiology or equivalent extensive clinical experience.Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice.Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to effect practice change.Excellent time management with attention to detail.Requisition ID: REQ604784
