- Deliver accurate and timely HR advice to internal stakeholders.
- Manage recruitment processes, including advertising, compliance checks, and onboarding.
- Process a range of HR documentation, including parental leave, employment confirmations, salary progressions, and exit letters.
- Contribute to the review, development, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and intranet content.
- Support corporate programs such as induction, employee development, and the workforce management plan.
- Maintain HR systems and prepare reports on key HR metrics and trends.
- Represent HR on selection panels and internal committees where required.
- Assist in organising recruitment and community engagement events (e.g. career expos, school programs).
- Undertake special projects and research tasks aligned with organisational goals.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field (Diploma or above), or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, HR operations, and employee relations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Current knowledge of contemporary HR practices and legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal systems quickly
- A flexible, team-oriented approach and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- A current Class C driver’s licence
- Knowledge of Commonwealth, State and Local Government legislation impacting HR
