- Drive the Beacon Lighting Store Strategy Playbook through a unified National Retail, Trade, Design & Operations Plan, with measurable KPIs that deliver sales growth, operational excellence, and brand strength.
- Partner with the EGM Trade to execute and drive Beacon Lighting's Trade Strategy and develop new initiatives to support the growth of our trade targets.
- Influence and contribute to the broader corporate strategy as a member of the Executive Management Team.
- Drive store operations to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and productive working environment while minimising operational risk.
- Champion a hands-on leadership style by remaining connected to store performance, customer experience, and operational outcomes.
- Test and implement new concepts to deliver a consistent and valued multi-channel customer experience across in-store, online, and omni-retail environments.
- Proactively monitor and manage operational risks across stock supply, production, resourcing and waste streams.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Store Leadership Team to build a high-performance, values-driven culture.
- Lead and drive succession planning and talent development, to ensure a strong leadership pipeline across the store network.
- Inspire and empower store and regional leaders to consistently deliver strong results and exceptional customer service.
- Foster a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on “people-first” practices.
- Lead the development, monitoring, and management of the national retail and operations budget, ensuring sustainable sales growth and profitability are achieved year on year.
- Report to CEO and Board on performance, risks, opportunities, and emerging trends in the store operational environment.
- Utilise data and insights across various platforms to drive decision-making, improve execution, and unlock growth opportunities.
- Proven executive leadership in multi-site retail and operations management.
- Demonstrated success in delivering retail and trade growth, profitability, and customer experience improvements.
- Skilled at leading large, geographically dispersed teams, with a focus on cultural alignment and performance.
- Strong strategic and analytical capability, combined with operational attention to detail.
- Inspirational and inclusive leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with peers (e.g., Trade, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR).
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing transformation and change management projects at national scale.
