
Claims Service Officer

- Ensure internal and external customer expectations are exceeded and business objectives met by efficiently undertaking claim processing and administrative functions including lodgement of new claims and processing medical transactions.
- Ensure work is completed with a high level of accuracy, decisions are evidence based (in line with allocated authority), clearly documented and in accordance with external/internal policy and procedure.
- Experience in a customer service (including retail) or administration support role - insurance and/or finance industry with knowledge of Workers Compensation would be an advantage.
- An understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
- Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information
