Here, you'll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.The RoleWe're seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Compliance Manager to oversee production operations and logistics across Crown's Events & Conferences spaces. This role ensures all activities meet compliance standards, including rigging assessments, contractor coordination, and adherence to health and safety regulations.Reporting to the Production Operations & Services Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support safe, seamless event delivery while protecting Crown's brand and infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and a passion for operational excellence.Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee compliance across all event spaces, including rigging and structural assessments
  • Coordinate event bump-in and bump-out logistics
  • Manage contractor relationships and ensure adherence to Crown's permits, health & safety standards, and legislative requirements
  • Review and assess Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and risk documentation for multiple events and large-scale productions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and brand protection
  • Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and reporting
About You
  • Proven experience in event production or compliance within the entertainment or corporate events industry
  • Strong working knowledge of lighting, audio, and vision systems
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement SWMS, risk assessments, and Australian standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Commitment to safety and operational excellence
  • Relevant qualifications in Production Management, Health & Safety, or Rigging (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
