From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.As a result of expanding scope of works within UGL’s portfolio, we are seeking a Defence Fuel Operator to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Amberley RAAF Base, Brisbane QLD.This would be an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation. Benefit from the opportunity to work with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term, operations and maintenance contract.The RoleLead by an Operations Supervisor, the following role will be based at Amberley RAAF Base, supporting a number of fuel installation sites in the region.DFI Operator

Reporting to the Operating Agent, the DFI Operator is responsible for the safe and compliant, operation and management of the aviation and/or ground fuel installations
Manage quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes
Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing
Experience in similar environment would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments

What you will NeedAlong with experience relevant to the role above, you will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee. We expect that the successful applicant will have the following:

Defence specific training will be advantageous, however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required
Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded)
Safety is at the forefront of everything you do!
Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
Live locally, or willing to relocate to the Brisbane area (close-proximity to Amberley, QLD)
