About the Role
We’re currently seeking an experienced Estimator for an immediate start on a 2-month contract to support our team during a high-volume period. This is a hands-on role suited to a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Class 2 residential, new builds, fit outs, and hospitality projects.
You’ll be stepping into a busy environment, working across a portfolio of projects ranging up to $100M, so experience at this scale is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential and hospitality projects
- Review architectural and engineering plans for take-offs
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes
- Identify and assess cost risks
- Provide support to the project and commercial teams as required
- Ensure all estimates align with project timelines and budgets
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Proven experience with Class 2 residential, hospitality, fit outs, and new builds
- Experience on projects up to $100M
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Buildsoft, CostX, or similar)
- Available for an immediate start
