These roles support the Group Tax team in meeting tax compliance obligations, with a strong focus on income tax across AMP's corporate entities.You'll help prepare and review tax returns and disclosures, support business units with technical tax matters and drive continuous improvement for optimal tax outcomes. The role also involves working closely with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient tax reporting.It's a great opportunity for someone seeking career growth within a highly experienced and supportive team.How will you make an impact
  • Preparation of the tax provisions and tax notes for the various corporate entities.
  • Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of the annual income tax return, fringe benefit tax return and annual AIIR from a business unit/entity perspective.
  • The timely calculation of monthly PAYG Instalment Income.
  • Assist with transfer pricing, Pillar 2, controlled foreign company and withholding tax issues associated with cross border transactions.
  • Develop or maintain relationships with key business partners.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of a range of process improvements
What you will bring to the role
  • Degree Qualified - Major in Accounting
  • Ideally 3 to 5 years relevant Australian corporate tax experience in the areas of income tax, FBT
  • Proven previous tax effect accounting experience with a good working knowledge of AASB 112
  • Knowledge of financial applications, including PeopleSoft, CCH Integrator and database
  • Highly developed computer and numeracy skills
  • Fully qualified CA/CPA
