Located in Wingfield, our client is an industry leading manufacturer of high-pressure water units, space heaters, vacuum cleaners and scrubber dryers. They have been a successful competitor within this industry for over 40 years and the brand only continues to grow, now opening the opportunity for a Trade Assistant to join their team.In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the company's success by assisting in assembly and repairs. Starting on a casual basis, this role offers a 38-hour working week, Monday-Friday with the view for permanency after a qualifying period.Duties will include but are not limited to:

General assembly and repairs to small motors, pumps & seals
Assisting with product repair diagnostics
Factory based & on-site repairs
Interpreting instructions and working with SOPs
Performing quality and testing checks

Successful applicants will have some or all of the following:

Previous experience working in a Mechanical or Electrical Environment
Demonstrated ability to work in a hands-on environment
Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
Mechanically Minded
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing
