Based in Moruya, this permanent full-time role involves managing the Water and Sewerage Operations team, ensuring the reliable supply of safe drinking water and the compliant treatment and disposal of wastewater for the community.The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering these essential services in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner, with a strong emphasis on customer service. The role includes the effective management and supervision of staff, in alignment with Council’s values, Code of Conduct, and workplace health and safety obligations.The salary for this position is up to $143,360.41 per annum inclusive of superannuation and industry allowance, with access to a leaseback vehicle and a range of significant benefits outlined below.To view the full salary information, list of duties and prerequisites, please view the .About youYou are a highly qualified and experienced professional with a minimum of ten years in water utility operations and at least five years in a leadership capacity. You possess comprehensive technical expertise in water and wastewater treatment processes, distribution systems, underpinned by a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Your application should further demonstrate:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated understanding and implementation of asset management principles.
Experience implementing Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
