The Senior Regulation Officer assists the Manager in leading the Council’s regulation and accreditation functions including the registration of training providers, regulatory responses, investigations, accreditation of courses and providing regulatory advice.This position also coordinates the delivery of a risk-based approach to the case management of training providers and accredited course proponents.To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in a regulatory and/or investigative environment, with a focus on risk based and client centred regulation, and highly developed communication skills and experience in delivery of client focused services.The TAC is preparing for the introduction of Registration Standards 2025 for registered training organisations and one of your key roles will be to assist the Manager Regulation in leading the regulation team in the transition and implementation of these Standards.As a measure to achieve equality under sections 51, 66R and 66ZP of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people (24 years of age and under) and people with disability who meet the requirements of the position may be prioritised for appointment.Employee Benefits
