Permanent Full-Time positions in and around Sydney CBDAttractive hourly rates on offer | Level 2 - Level 5 + shift penaltiesUniversity roles - location near public transport, and other client site perksAbout the role:MSS Security is looking for Security Officers to work at University campuses in and around Sydney CBD. The position is primarily responsible for providing security presence at the University and to provide excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors. Your duties will be, and not limited to:Conduct foot patrols of campuses - outdoors and indoorsEnsure property is locked and unlocked as requiredDirect and help visitors and public to navigate around the campusWrite reports in response to incidentsCommunicate calmly and clearly with key stakeholdersVisitors sign in/induction and maintain key registers and issue key passesAbout you:These roles are being offered on a rotating roster across multiple sites within the Sydney region. You also have a choice of working on a 4 on 4 off roster.We are looking for:Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificateCurrent NSW Security licenceDedication, reliability, and a commitment to securityPhysically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periodsExcellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with approachabilityHigh level computer literacy skillsThe ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environmentAustralian Citizenship for candidates wanting to work within Government Security (due to clearance requirements)If you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
