Salary: $79.21/hr for day shift (10.5 hours) and $81.96/hr for shift work (12 hours) Flat rate on all hoursTrade qualified Mechanical Fitter with fixed plant maintenance, repairs and breakdown experience required for a contract ending on 30th June 2026.Duties & Responsibilities:

Planned and breakdown mechanical maintenance support
Completion of programmed inspections of mechanical equipment and machinery to achieve safe and reliable operations
Using dogging and rigging skills and experience to assist with safe and efficient wire and grab changes
Performing breakdown repairs
Maintenance of conveyors, ship loaders, stackers and associated equipment
Routine servicing and maintenance of heavy industry equipment

Qualifications:

Relevant Mechanical Trade qualification
Forklift licence
EWP
Confined space
Working at heights
Rigging and dogging tickets with demonstrated rigging experience

Technical Skills / Experience:

Ability to work shift work and irregular hours
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Good customer focus and liaison skills
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety principles
Flexibility and preparedness to ensure success of group
Computer literacy skills
