This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of mechanical systems aboard ships, including engines and pumps, and supporting components including railing and more.Key Details:

Location: Fremantle, WA
Rate: Start on $50 + Penalties then $55 + penalties after 2 weeks of proving yourself
Hours: 45-55 hours per week
Opportunity: Potential for full-time employment if you prove to be a good fit

About You:

You are a problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments.
You can work independently and think on your feet, especially when tackling complex mechanical tasks.
You have experience working with mobile plant or in a marine in a maintenance role.
You’re able to adapt to the flexible and challenging nature of marine work.

What We’re Looking For:

Marine experience is highly regarded and preferred.
Candidates from heavy-duty fitting, and plant maintenance backgrounds (especially those working in smaller, remote companies) are encouraged to apply.
Engine and alignment experience is a big plus.
Candidates with overseas trade certifications will be considered, although an Australian Trade Certificate is preferred.

Tickets and Licenses Required:

Police clearance within 12 months.
Trade Certificate either Australian or international.
Drivers license and reliable vehicle.
