Financial Accountant - Fixed Asset / Projects

You’ll be part of a supportive finance team working across major infrastructure projects. Your main responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and validating accruals for capital projects.
- Supporting the capitalisation process for completed assets.
- Partnering with project teams, asset accountants and other stakeholders within the business.
- Assisting with financial reporting, analysis and process improvements.
- Contributing to initiatives to strengthen financial management across projects.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in fixed assets / project accounting.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Experience with ERP/financial systems (SAP experience an advantage).
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work well with different stakeholders.
- A positive attitude and willingness to adapt in a busy environment.
- 6 - 12 month contract with potential for extension.
- Brisbane-based role with immediate start.
