Our solutions make the world safer and more open.About the RoleWe're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Specification Sales team in Victoria. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - Specification (VIC/TAS), you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business in the commercial specification segment, focusing on major architectural and builder-led projects.This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your relationship-building skills and present tailored commercial solutions across a diverse customer base, including architects, builders, and key residential project stakeholders.What You Will Do

Develop new business opportunities within the Commercial and Residential project sectors
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, and top-tier project stakeholders
Identify, develop, and manage key specification and commercial opportunities
Collaborate with distributors to support design and construct (D&C) projects
Deliver impactful solution-based presentations to major builders
Track and report on competitor activity, customer trends, and market intelligence
Maintain accurate records in CRM and contribute to forecasting and sales reporting
Represent ASSA ABLOY at sales meetings, product launches, and industry functions

About YouYou're a results-driven individual who thrives on building relationships and identifying growth opportunities. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have a strong customer-first mindset.To succeed in this role, you will need:

Proven business development or specification sales experience in the building or construction industry
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
A self-starter attitude with the ability to work autonomously
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel (up to 10% domestic)
Experience working with CRM systems is advantageous
