  • Role Title: Clinical Midwifery Educator
  • Role Type: Permanent, Part time
  • Department and Location: Maternity Department, Mater Hospital, North Sydney.
  • Salary: 57.35 AUD base per hour.

  • Design, deliver and evaluate tailored education programs for students, new graduate midwives and experienced midwifery staff.
  • Provide clinical support, mentorship and supervision to midwives in the birth suite.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align educational initiatives with clinical standards and policies.
  • Facilitate the orientation and onboarding of new midwifery staff.
  • Support quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with professional guidelines.
About You:
  • AHPRA registered.
  • Previous Midwifery Education experience desired.
  • Cert IV in training (as per other CNE ads at Mater) or working toward.
  • 5 years + birth suite experience as a Registered Midwife.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
