- Equity capital markets
- IPOs and ASX listing rule advice
- Restructuring and recapitalisations
- Joint ventures and corporate governance
- Proven M&A experience, ideally gained at a leading firm (5 years + PQE)
- Excellent technical and drafting skills
- A commercial mindset and ability to provide strategic advice
- Strong team orientation, with the drive to mentor and support junior colleagues
- Commitment to building long-term client relationships
- Soul Patts on its proposed A$14bn merger with Brickworks;
- CC Capital Partners on its A$3.4bn proposal to acquire Insignia Financial;
- Healthscope acting for the receivers on the sale of the Healthscope hospitals.
- VGW on the proposed A$3.2bn scheme with LEO;
- e2open on its proposed A$4bn acquisition by WiseTech (as Australian counsel);
- Harmony Gold on its proposed A$1.6bn scheme for MAC Copper; and
- ANZ on its A$4.9bn acquisition of Suncorp Bank
