We rally together, drawing on the diverse skills across our teams and create environments where great ideas are heard.This opportunity will see you join a reputable company with a highly experienced team who work together to develop and provide solutions for our customers.We are currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our team at the Bennett’s Green Workshop in Newcastle. The Project Administrator is responsible for providing professional administration and documentation support to the projects as required. The Administrator is also responsible for the procurement and administration of goods, materials, and services and for ensuring they are of a high quality, provided at the best cost, delivered on a timely basis, and managed effectively, minimising risks.Key responsibilities:
  • Purchase of materials, equipment and consumables including co-ordination of delivery to site.
  • SAP raising and maintenance of purchase orders, including goods receipt, journals and queries (incl processing through VIMS)
  • Prepare and maintain estimate to complete reports.
  • Maintain site PEMS (Purchase and Expense Management System) records.
  • Reconcile data from accounts department with site records.
  • Maintain systems and procedures for contractual requirements.
  • Provide administration support to the site project team.
  • Wages payroll administration
  • Project travel and accommodation procurer incl reconciliation of monthly statements
  • R&R roster administration
  • Archiving
  • Liaise with the project team, internal functional support teams, client representatives, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure information flows freely and relationships are sound.
  • Administer subcontract agreements, including processing of notices, progress claims, variations and extension of time requests.
About You:
  • Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Access, email etc.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
