Support and monitor the execution of the Technical Maintenance Plan as it relates to UGLRL managed assets on the CRN and ARTC networks.
Delegated Engineering authority to make engineering decisions relating to the integrity of civil assets.
Monitor and assess the defect management conducted by the CRN maintenance teams to ensure that local practices and methods meet contractual and UGLRL requirements and provide suitable assurance of track safety and integrity.
Assist Civil Maintenance Engineer to review track and civil asset performance analysis.
Analyse and use track and civil documents/data and records to produce progress and project performance compliance reporting.
Assist projects by anticipating and fulfilling any requirement for specialist track equipment in a manner that minimises risks to both health and safety and project completion.
Investigate and delivery of new technologies and including trial products.
Support the process of project identification, prioritisation, and scoping of major and minor projects.
Assist in the preparation of track and civil expenditure budgets, reports and forecasts and ensure they are presented in a timely manner.
Assist Maintenance Superintendents with incident management, preparation of incident reports and welded track stability analysis calculation and rectification.
Read and understand plans, review design documentation, read drawings, and provide constructive review and implementing of final designs.
Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
Maintain awareness of compliance, technical, and financial aspects of the track and civil functions to provide maximum service and support track improvements as directed.
Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment, and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.
Provide technical and engineering support to team members as required.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant and equivalent industry experience.
Degree in of Asset Management, Infrastructure, or Maintenance Management (Preferred)
Chartered Engineering Status (Preferred)
