As part of the Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA), ECC is grounded in strong Christian values and committed to equipping students to flourish in life and faith.We are seeking a faith-filled, visionary, and relational leader to serve as the Head of Primary School, commencing Term 1, 2026. This full-time executive leadership role is an opportunity to lead a dynamic Primary School team and shape a flourishing learning community grounded in Gospel truth.This is not just a role — it’s a sacred opportunity to nurture hearts and minds. You’ll lead with grace and conviction, sowing seeds of faith and learning that will shape lives for eternity.Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing spiritual and strategic leadership to the Primary School as a member of the ECC Executive Team
- Leading teaching and learning with a commitment to academic excellence and holistic child development
- Cultivating a positive, supportive and prayerful school culture for students, staff and families
- Oversight of curriculum development, professional learning, and policy compliance
- Managing Primary School operations including budgeting, enrolments, wellbeing programs and compliance
- Promoting Christian Worldview integration across all areas of the curriculum
- Partnering with the wider SCEA network and community to grow Kingdom impact
- A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church
- A clear alignment with SCEA’s Statement of Faith and Foundational Beliefs
- Demonstrated experience in educational leadership, preferably at a whole-school or executive level
- Strength in staff development, curriculum leadership and pastoral care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a servant-leader mindset
- Proven ability to build culture, manage change and inspire excellence
- A deep love for children and a vision to see them thrive in Christ
- Previous experience in a Head of School or Deputy-level role
- Understanding of NCCD, Disability Standards for Education and differentiated learning
- Familiarity with WA curriculum and compliance requirements
