We are looking for a dynamic Engineering Manager who can balance leadership with hands-on delivery. This is not a “hands-off” management - around 25% of your time will be spent coding and prototyping, while the rest is focused on leading the team, defining the platform vision, and driving innovation.The Role
- Lead the technology function, ensuring stability of current systems while building a next-generation fintech platform.
- Be hands-on in coding (approx. 25% of the time) to prototype, guide best practices, and solve complex challenges.
- Drive the re-platforming program using modern architectures and AI-assisted development.
- Grow, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team.
- Collaborate with product and commercial leaders to deliver scalable, market-leading solutions.
- 8+ years' engineering experience, with proven leadership in B2B SaaS platform development (fintech or financial services highly regarded).
- A technical leader who thrives on rolling up their sleeves-comfortable both setting direction and contributing code.
- Expertise across .NET, C#, REST APIs, SQL, and modern development frameworks.
- Track record of leveraging AI in development and prototyping solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a commercial environment.
- Agile delivery expertise and ability to manage external service providers.
- Take the lead in redefining technology foundation and fintech capabilities.
