With a global footprint and over 10,000 employees, we're dedicated to delivering operational excellence and building smarter, safer environments.We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager based in Sydney CBD to deliver government infrastructure projects with a focus on security equipment and systems-including CCTV, access control, duress alarms, and electronic security upgrades. This is a hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day from home) with occasional travel to regional NSW (travel costs reimbursed). About the RoleReporting to a Senior Project Manager or Project Director, this role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of security equipment projects. You'll be overseeing scoping, procurement, installation, and commissioning of security infrastructure across a range of government facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, with a focus on electronic and physical security systems
- Coordinate the design, installation, testing, and handover of systems like CCTV, access control, alarms, and intercoms
- Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure compliance and quality
- Manage project budgets, invoices, financial forecasts, and reporting
- Ensure adherence to OH&S, environmental, and quality management standards
- Lead project meetings, prepare documentation, and ensure client satisfaction
- Travel to regional NSW sites as required - KM reimbursement provided
- Experience delivering projects related to security systems/equipment (e.g. CCTV, access control, alarm systems)
- Demonstrated background in capital works or technology-based infrastructure projects
- Strong skills in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and contractor management
- Proficient in project management tools including MS Project, Excel, and Word
- Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting
- Strong understanding of OH&S and quality assurance principles
- Current White Card and valid driver's licence
- Background working on government contracts or with public sector clients
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience working in live or secure operating environments
- Understanding of Australian standards relating to electronic security systems
