QinetiQ Air Affairs is seeking a skilled Quality and Safety Assurance Officer to support and enhance the safety, compliance, and operational performance of our aviation and support systems. We are open to employment types, such as part time, job share, or compressed hours. Whilst this role is primarily based onsite, due to the nature of the role, there is some hybrid working possible.What you'll doPlan, lead, conduct and report on internal and external auditsSupport external audits (ISO 9001, AS9110, ISO 45001) and maintain accreditation readinessConduct investigations into incidents, hazards and near missesAssess compliance across regulatory frameworksLiaise with teams to progress actions from Safety, Risk, and Management ReviewsContribute to continuous improvement and safety-first cultureMaintain robust and accurate quality and safety recordsCollaborate across all levels of the business - from apprentices to engineers, pilots, and executivesWhat you'll bringLead Auditor qualificationHands-on auditing and quality assurance experienceStrong understanding of safety and compliance frameworksConfidence communicating across all levels with professionalism and emotional intelligenceA practical, solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detailAbility to interpret regulation and assess alignment with internal policy and processWhy QinetiQ Air Affairs
