It offers the best of both worlds.Bathurst Health Service is a level 4 referral facility with 100 beds, having undergone redevelopment in 2011 and with a redevelopment currently in progress, due to be completed in 2027.With a budget of $200m the new redevelopment will deliver a mix of new and refurbished areas, expanded services including emergency and maternity, and improved paediatrics, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services.It's a great time to be part of the expanding Bathurst Health Service team.Bathurst Maternity teamBathurst has a level 4 maternity unit with over 500 babies birthed each year, supported by a level 3 special care nursery. - Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist, and/or overseas trained specialist via the appropriate International Medical Graduate pathway.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Be available to participate in an on-call roster as required and to respond on-site within a reasonable time.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
