As a Leading Hand, you'll be the go-to person on site, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring high quality workmanship.Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Supervising and coordinating a team of carpenters and apprentices
Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
Organising materials, tools, and subcontractors
Ensuring safety standards and project timelines are met
Hands-on carpentry work where needed to keep the job moving
Reporting progress and issues to site/project managers
What We’re Looking For:
Trade qualified carpenter (Certificate III or equivalent)
Minimum 4 years’ experience in carpentry, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of residential construction
Ability to manage a team and liaise with clients and contractors
Solid problem-solving and communication skills
White Card, valid driver’s licence, and own tools
