- This position serves as a key financial adviser to management by delivering accurate, insightful, and timely financial analysis and corporate reporting to support decision-making across the organization.
- Ensures the integrity of the company's financial data, supports corporate-level compliance with global accounting standards, and contributes to effective resource allocation that aligns with strategic objectives.
- Responsible for detailed budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights, they empower the business to optimize operations, manage risks, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
- Instrumental in ensuring the effective utilization of financial data throughout the organization, enabling decisions that drive profitability, operational efficiency, and overall business success.
- Helps Linde South Pacific deliver on its promise of innovation, operational excellence, and value creation for employees, customers, and stakeholders across the region
- Prepare consolidated financial reports at a corporate level, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities across business units.
Strategic Budgeting and Forecasting: * Assist in coordinating the annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecasts for the South Pacific region.Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate budget submission and alignment with organizational strategy and business plan. * Collaborate with regional or divisional finance teams to develop consistent budgeting models and reporting frameworks.Prepare and analyze variance reports, providing actionable insights on discrepancies and financial performance.
Cost and Performance Management: * Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and recommendations to management.
Support decision-making related to operational planning and resource allocation.
Stakeholder Communication: * Prepare financial presentations and reports for executive leadership, board meetings, and external stakeholders.Act as a central liaison between business unit controllers and the APAC & Global FPA&R team to ensure timely delivery of consolidated reports and analyses.
Compliance and Controls: * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in internal/ external audits and ensure adherence to Linde's financial controls framework and SOX Controls.
- Manage corporate finance systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with global reporting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial gases, or similar industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with multinational and matrix organizations is desirable.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, data analysis) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, IBM Analytics).
