Join a progressive broadacre cropping operation where you'll work side-by-side with the owners, playing a vital role in keeping machinery running smoothly and operating advanced equipment throughout the cropping cycle. You'll use cutting-edge technology like GPS and drone-driven weed mapping to maximise efficiency and contribute to ongoing innovation on the farm.
You'll also have the chance to get involved in general farm and livestock tasks during quieter periods.Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a range of cropping machinery safely and efficiently
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory
  • Use GPS and precision ag tools
  • Operate spray rigs using weed mapping technology
  • Customise and modify machinery to suit farm needs
  • Support fencing, livestock, and general farm work in quieter periods
About You
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience
  • Skilled in operating tractors, spray rigs, and other farm machinery
  • Confident using GPS and precision ag systems
  • Sound welding and metal fabrication skills
  • Comfortable with manual work in all weather conditions
  • Safety-focused, tidy, and highly organised
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Curious and solutions-oriented with a proactive mindset
Applicants with less farm machinery operation experience will be consideredWhat's on Offer
  • Salary (neg. depending on experience) + Super + Overtime
  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Overtime paid or time in lieu by agreement
  • 4WD vehicle for personal use outside work hours
  • Comfortable 3-bedroom house with 4-car garage, lawn, and watering system
