This is a hands-on role focused on delivering measurable improvements across cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement initiatives.You will work closely with operational teams across Ampcontrol sites to lead and support improvement projects, embed LEAN methodologies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional business improvement projects to deliver measurable performance outcomes in cost, quality, and safety.
  • Mentor and train team members in LEAN principles, process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Coach operations staff and leaders to embed sustainable improvement practices.
  • Partner with Operations Managers to identify opportunities, develop ROI-based business cases, and manage project plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and capability-building sessions to uplift operational excellence.
  • Support change navigation and foster strong people connections across teams.
  • Promote and embed a company-wide culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Identify and support internal change agents and recognize improvement champions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships across Operations, Engineering, Projects, and HSEQ teams.
  • Recommend and implement business improvement tools and initiatives that drive ongoing engagement and results.
About YouYou thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and have a strong understanding of LEAN principles, manufacturing processes, and operational excellence.What We're Looking ForEssential:
  • Trade qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • LEAN Manufacturing qualifications and a strong practical understanding of LEAN methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business improvement initiatives in an industrial environment (e.g., mining, manufacturing, oil & gas).
  • Ability to map processes, develop value stream diagrams, and lead problem-solving initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workloads, and drive outcomes.
  • Strong facilitation, training, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
