About the company:Australian-based manufacturer, supplying life-saving diagnostic products to support transfusion safety in healthcare settings across the globe. Based in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.About the role:We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician. In this role, you will work in a GMP/clean room production facility and use your high degree of technical competence. The Cell Culture Ope`is focused on the daily operation of manufacturing activities, including, mammalian cell culture, and the operation of single-use and stainless-steel bioreactors used in monoclonal antibody production using hybridoma cells.Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Manual packaging, dispensing and labelling of products
Operation of automated dispensing equipment within an aseptic processing environment
Operation of automatic labelling equipment
Transfer finished products to storage
Filling out Manufacturing Batch Records and following SOPs
Routine cleaning and environmental monitoring of aseptic processing areas
Following GMP procedures accordingly

To be successful in this position you will have:

Must have cleanroom/GMP experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor of Science or a related discipline or related fields with laboratory experience in industry or academia.
Can do attitude
The ability to follow processes and procedures
Excellent communication skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of GMP, OH&S and Quality Systems
Basic computer skills (SAP experience desirable)
Attention to detail and the ability to follow batch documentation and SOPs precisely
Flexibility to work across shifts and adapt to multiple production tasks
