Do you believe that all learners regardless of ability deserve to be known, supported, and empowered to fulfil their God-given potential?Northshore Christian Grammar School is seeking an experienced and passionate Dean of Learning Enrichment to lead the strategic development and delivery of learning support, gifted education, and inclusive practices across Years 7–12. This is a key leadership position, suited to someone with a wealth of experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs, particularly in secondary education.You will play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of inclusion and academic excellence, working closely with staff, students, and families to ensure every learner is supported to thrive. As part of our dynamic and supportive leadership team, you will help champion differentiated teaching, advocate for best practices in special needs education, and guide the continuous improvement of enrichment programs.This is a permanent full-time position, however, we are open to 0.8 FTE for the right candidate. Start date is flexible, with the option to commence in Term 4, 2025 or Term 1, 2026.Who We AreNorthshore Christian Grammar School is a growing K–12 school in Alkimos, currently serving over 900 students. By late 2026, it will complete the first phase of its development, including a 250-seat library, student services, and new offices. Operated by the Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA), Northshore offers a stable and supportive environment for students and staff. It is also known as a highly satisfying workplace, with outstanding feedback from staff and the community.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the school’s Learning Enrichment program, including gifted education, remediation, and support for students with disabilities and learning difficulties.
  • Take a lead role in NCCD funding documentation and administrative requirements around these processes.
  • Coach and support staff in delivering differentiated and inclusive classroom practices across Years 7–12.
  • Coordinate the development of IEPs, CAPs, RMPs, and GEPs in partnership with staff and families.
  • Collaborate with external providers for assessments and intervention where required.
  • Monitor student progress and use data to inform interventions and teaching adjustments.
  • Champion a culture of high expectations, growth, and belonging for all students.
  • Lead professional learning and support the development of inclusive teaching practices across the secondary school.
  • Participate in the spiritual life of the school, supporting our Christ-centred vision.

Essential Criteria:
  • A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church
  • Acceptance of SCEA’s Statement of Faith and alignment with the Christian ethos of the school
  • Tertiary qualification in Education with demonstrated expertise in learning support, inclusion, and/or gifted education
  • Knowledge of NCCD, Disability Standards for Education, and Australian Curriculum differentiation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership experience and the ability to support and mentor staff
  • A deep commitment to holistic education that nurtures every aspect of a student’s development
