We inspire, create curiosity, and empower humans through their beauty and confidence.The RoleWe’re on the lookout for a sharp, detail-loving Senior Financial Accountant to join our high-energy retail team and take charge of the numbers that keep our business moving. From lease reporting and tax submissions to month-end close and financial deep dives -you’ll be right at the heart of it all.Reporting to our Financial Controller, you’ll lead key reporting cycles, partner with teams across the business, and drive process improvements that make a real impact. You’ll also mentor junior team members and play a big role in audit season. Reviewing and posting payroll-related journals, making sure every dollar is where it should be
Owning our IFRS16 lease compliance - reviewing updates, preparing reports, and keeping us audit-ready
Partnering with our Inventory and Retail Ops teams to ensure stock and sales figures line up across the board
Rolling up your sleeves for month-end magic - GL reconciliations, P&L reviews, and balance sheet insights
Translating numbers into stories - comparing results against budgets and forecasts, and spotting the why behind the what
Getting stuck into GST, FBT, and income tax calculations and submissions (yep, all the fun acronyms)
Leading conversations with auditors and prepping everything they need - no surprises here
Supporting the Financial Controller on strategic finance projects, forecasts, and modelling
Driving improvements in our systems and processes to help the team work smarter, not harder
Coaching and guiding junior team members - helping build financial capability across the team

Your Sweet Spots (About You)

Professionally qualified CPA or CA; currently registered in Australia.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
Retail industry and NetSuite experiences are highly advantageous.
Experience with working in multi-national & multi-site business.
