An industry leader is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to broaden their expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced finance environment with the potential to go permanent.The RoleThis is a hands-on role that will see you involved in a variety of core accounting and reporting responsibilities.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, including preparation of accruals, fixed asset entries, prepayments, and other journals
  • Complete reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts and perform bank reconciliations
  • Review and process employee expense claims in line with company policy
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for internal and group-level reporting
  • Work alongside the CFO to prepare tax filings including GST, FBT, PAYE, payroll tax, and income tax
  • Assist in the weekly payment cycle and monitor cash requirements
  • Support broader finance activities such as external audits, budgeting, and energy reporting
  • Take on various ad hoc projects and tasks to support the finance function as needed
About You
  • Preferably be CA/CPA qualified
  • Relevant experience within a commercial finance role
  • Excellent written and communications skills
