We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and seasoned Senior Accountant to work on a part time basis for a financial services and asset management company. This role is a part-time position (2 days a week) suited for candidates confident in managing end-to-end financial processes and driving improvements. The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking, proactive, and capable of working autonomously while supporting operational functions.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of annual statutory accounts across the business, ensuring timely completion and appropriate approvals.
- Manage the preparation of tax returns, including providing recommendations and sign-offs prior to submission.
- Review Business Activity Statements (BAS) or equivalent compliance reports, liaising with service providers where required.
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of shareholder tax statements in line with agreed requirements.
- Ensure compliance with annual reporting obligations and maintain adherence to relevant regulatory standard
- Experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Proven expertise in month-end, year-end reporting, and preparing management accounts.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to manage external relationships, especially with auditors.
- Up to 6 years in a senior finance role.
