The Role
You will:

Provide high-quality inpatient and ambulatory care at the Hospital and surrounding remote communities
Participate in a flexible, negotiable roster including:

2 weeks inpatient ward coverage
2 weeks outpatient clinics and remote outreach
Shared after-hours on-call responsibility
Supervise and mentor a team of 5 junior doctors, including RACP Basic Trainees, Rural Generalist Trainees, and Interns
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists including ED FACEMs, Obstetricians, Psychiatrists, GPs, and Paediatricians
Engage in teaching, simulation-based education, and professional development activities, supported by a state-of-the-art Simulation Lab

Essential Selection Criteria * Specialist QualificationFellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or an equivalent qualification in Renal and General Medicine. (RACP assessed as substantially comparable). * Indigenous Health CommitmentDemonstrated interest in and commitment to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. * Ongoing Professional DevelopmentEvidence of ongoing participation in continuing education, clinical teaching, research, and quality assurance initiatives. * Cultural CompetenceAbility to interact effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly in a remote or regional healthcare setting.
