
Technical Sales Manager Defence (m/f/x)

- You represent the Business Unit Combustion Engines to our Defence customers across all phases of the sales and project life cycle - from initial contact to after-sales support
- You identify and understand customer needs, gather and structure relevant information, and coordinate internally to ensure expectations are addressed effectively
- You collaborate closely within the Defence Team to prepare quotations and ensure competitive offers
- You contribute to the development of customer-specific offer concepts, ensuring alignment with market and localization requirements during tender and bidding processes
- You bring together internal specialists to shape solutions that support customer and business success
- You act as a key interface between the customer and internal teams - ensuring smooth communication, mutual understanding, and project progression
- You serve as a liaison between the customer and technical departments, ensuring clear communication and smooth project progression
- You stay up to date with market trends and developments in the Defence sector to help guide sales strategy and identify new opportunities
- You hold a degree in mechanical or business engineering or have several years of relevant experience in combustion engines, drive technology or sales
- You bring several years of experience working with customers in the Defence industry
- You have a proven track record in successful customer acquisition, proposal preparation, and long-term client support
- You are highly customer-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a structured, solution-driven approach to your work
- Your solution and goal-orientation paired with a hands-on mentality will ensure your success
- You have excellent skills in German and English
