
Senior Case Manager

- Provide end-to-end support and advocacy to members facing difficult times and who need to make TPD, IP, D, TI claims or early release payment claim;
- Provide expert case management for escalated complex or disputed claims
- Review & challenge insurer decisions and conduct thorough case review for declined claims
- Process claim payments for Insurance, Death and Terminal Illness cases;
- Compile and review 1st level internal audit documentation AND
- Act as the trustee delegate for approval of claim decisions and claim payments.
- 5 years life insurance claims experience, preferably within a customer-focused superannuation environment;
- Strong understanding of Total Permanent Disability, Income Protection, Terminal Illness claims.
- Detailed expertise knowledge of the claims and underwriting process & applicable insurance policies including legacy insurer;
- Ability to engage distressed members/ families in a professional and compassionate manner while maintaining objectivity;
- Ability to trouble shoot and manage complex cases;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills AND
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
