Join us and be a part of DSV's global family.DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Export in Melbourne.We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to manage both Air and Sea Export activities, ensuring smooth movement of consignments from origin to destination. This is a customer-facing role that involves coordinating bookings with international and domestic carriers, preparing export documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations.Your typical day at DSV:
- Collaborate with a team of Export specialists to deliver accurate, high-quality service to our clients.
- Manage the full export workflow-from customer service to shipment departure-aligned with management directives, client instructions, and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, service providers, and overseas colleagues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve export-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurately enter data into CargoWise One and manage financial aspects such as invoicing.
- Support process improvements and monitor operational efficiency.
- Assist the Senior Team Lead and Department Manager with daily tasks and special projects.
- Proven experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea).
- Proficiency in CargoWise One and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and resolve challenges.
- High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- A confident, resilient, and proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret data and documentation effectively.
