As part of the Commercial team, the Client Services Officer will handle a portfolio of accounts. Working in a small, nationally focused organisation requires a team-oriented employee with experience in all aspects of the forwarding process. Previous experience in Customer Service or Operations within Freight Forwarding is imperative along with experience managing key accounts.DUTIES
- Liaise with various overseas agents to ensure all quoting, bookings and shipments are managed per SOP's
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure the execution of shipments
- The first point of call for escalation and relationship development with your portfolio
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to deliver cargo status updates and reporting
- 5+ years' experience in a Customer Service or Senior Operations role in Freight Forwarding
- Sound understanding of quoting, managing P/O's and report management
- Ability to manage clients through written and verbal means
- Demonstrated experience with the system Expedient within a Freight Forwarder
