Project Accountant - NFPCompany BackgroundOur client is a NFP services provider with multiple sites across Australia, as well as internationally. Going from strength to strength, they currently have three large-scale construction projects underway with more in the 5-year strategic pipeline. This Project Accountant role will be fundamental in the delivery of new sites, to continue providing top-tier care to their customers.This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your experience in Project Accounting to make a real difference to the lives of many, while enjoying a genuine work/life balance, including 2 days working from home each week.The RoleThis role is a 12-month fixed term contract, however, there is potential for the role to become permanent.Reporting to a talented Group Financial Controller, this is a highly visible role and will partner with business unit leaders. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Delivery of financial and management reporting activity within the construction entity
Production of detailed monthly overviews of financial progress for new sites
Quarterly delivery of project performance review updates
Monthly project accounting, including WIP reporting, variance analysis, and cost to complete assessments
Cash flow forecasting
Business partnering with construction teams

Your Background

CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent practical experience)
Previous experience in a project accounting position from a construction, engineering or infrastructure environment
Skilled in interpreting and communicating financial results to non-financial stakeholders
Proficiency with financial systems and tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
