This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to shape our technical architecture, drive innovation, and mentor teams while working within our Product Operating Model. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic programs of work that align with our core business and technical strategies.See yourself in our teamYou’ll be joining a team responsible for delivering pricing capabilities for our home buying customers. This includes maintaining and evolving a suite of applications that calculate discounts and package offerings. The team is currently undergoing a significant transformation program, making this an exciting time to come on board.We’re interested in hearing from people whoLead the development of strategic technical initiatives and provide architectural oversight across multiple product teamsDrive technical excellence and innovation, including the adoption of AI technologies, across the engineering organizationProvide high-level technical consultation across projects and delivery teams while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical initiativesChampion and establish best practices, industry standards, and quality frameworks across teamsPartner with product leadership to ensure technical strategy aligns with business objectivesMentor and upskill engineering teams while fostering a culture of technical excellenceDrive the adoption of modern engineering practices including test automation, CI/CD, and monitoringTech skillsWe use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:Full-stack development expertise across frontend and backend technologiesDeep knowledge of cloud architecture and microservicesExperience with modern databases (both SQL and NoSQL)Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of GenAI tools and platformsExperience with monitoring and observability toolsStrong database skills – stored procedures, functions, jobs, general database querying, troubleshootingWorking with usWhether you’re passionate about customer service, driven by software engineering, or called by creativity, a career with us is for you.
