Our client AGL is seeking a Mid-Senior Digital Developer to join their team on a 6-month contract, working in a hybrid model from our Melbourne CBD office.About the Role
As a Digital Developer, you’ll be instrumental in designing, coding, and delivering high-quality digital solutions. You’ll work closely with technical leads and solution architects to shape and implement solutions that transform customer experiences. This is a Full Stack Developer role with a strong emphasis on front-end development, making it ideal for those who excel in crafting intuitive, responsive user interfaces while also contributing to robust backend systems.What You’ll Do

Design and develop software across digital platforms using modern frameworks and technologies
Translate business requirements into functional, scalable solutions
Write and maintain high-quality unit, integration, and automated UI/API tests
Collaborate with QA, UX, and BA specialists to ensure consistent and effective delivery
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing
Drive continuous improvement in development practices and team processes
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on business needs and technical solutions

Your Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer in large and complex environments
Strong front-end expertise with Angular, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Typescript
Solid backend experience with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Web API, and XUnit
Familiarity with Azure cloud services
Experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence
Solid understanding of test-driven development and CI/CD practices
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working in agile teams using Scrum
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Knowledge of modern leadership practices is highly regarded
