Our team which is part of Audit and Assurance Quality and Risk (AAQR) is responsible for supporting all our audit professionals across Australia as they execute audit engagements by ensuring teams have up to date tools and resources available to them at the right time. The content team's goal is to develop, manage and deploy technical content and guidance in our audit software and other global platforms.What will your typical day look like?
As part of the content team, you will be contributing to shape how we support audit practitioners now and in the future. You will be engaged in diverse and interesting tasks and have the opportunity to:
- Develop and maintain audit, regulatory and/or industry content in compliance with Australian Professional Standards;
- Assess and publish the most up-to-date audit technical content in the Deloitte audit manuals and audit tools used on a daily basis by audit practitioners;
- Be part of larger projects throughout the year as Deloitte Globally develop and release content in our tools;
- Liaise with various subject matter experts across business units for stakeholder input; and
- Assist with the timely preparation of communication to the audit practice in relation to the latest content updates, and the expectation and impact on their engagements.
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum of 2 years' audit experience
- Advanced English communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and ability to effectively communicate with all different levels of staff
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Effective ability to filter information, assess priorities and manage own workload
- Thrives in fast-paced, detailed-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and follow processes
- Proactive, self-starter & committed individual seeking to add value in the role
- Ability to build professional relationships and rapport with team and other stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Team-player who can also work independently
- Passion for contributing to and facilitating the continuous improvement of internal content processes.
