
Financial Controller

- Reporting line to the Group CFO and a dotted line report to the AU CEO.
- Exposure to financial projects and experience working with teams across APAC.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Manage cash flow and oversee treasury functions.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Experience running regional financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with cross region collaboration, local and regional stakeholders (APAC).
- Strong financial business partner, ability to build strong relationships and also have difficult / challenging conversations.
- Public Officer with ATO for lodgements.
- Full oversight of finance audit.
- AU tax return lodgement.
- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven expertise in financial management and reporting.
- Minimum 13-15 years of finance experience, including 5+ in a senior controllership or managerial capacity. Previous Audit experience in a Big 4 or Mid Tier accounting firm and corporate commercial experience is essential.
- Experience within corporate services, investor services, professional services, or B2B service industries is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of contract-based revenue models, utilization rates, and service profitability.
- Good knowledge of ASIC regulations and AFS licensing requirements.
- Comfortable collaborating with teams across the APAC region, managing work across different time zones.
- Proven track record in managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance in a fast-paced, service-driven business
- Competitive salary range of $180,000 to $215,000 base plus superannuation.
