- Focus: Corporate Reporting, Tax, Bank Governance

- Travel: Light quarterly travel (National + New Zealand)
- Corporate Reporting: Take ownership of the monthly management accounts, financial reporting and cash flow forecasting
- Taxation Leadership: Manage tax compliance and planning, working with advisors to optimise tax outcomes and align financial strategies
- Strategic Oversight: Oversee treasury, risk management, budgeting, and ensure robust financial controls
- Asset Management Support: Partner with Asset Managers to review performance, cash flows, and balance sheets for property assets, and support acquisitions/ disposals through due diligence and financial modelling
- Financial Modelling: Develop detailed financial models to support development proposals, feasibility analyses, and valuations, providing actionable insights
- Leadership: Mentor and develop the finance team to enhance capabilities and drive success
- Property Investment Expertise: Proven experience in property investments, specifically hotel investments and developments. I’m all for transferable skill sets; however, if you do not possess a deep background in the sector as per the client’s specific requirements, your application is unlikely to progress.
- Big 4 Foundations: Ideally started in a Big4 environment before progressing into group reporting within a commercial environment (ideally with a property asset manager, hotel developer or group function of a hotel operator)
- Executive Presence: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to command respect and influence senior leadership
