You will be charged with ensuring that apprenticeship arrangements operate effectively from sign-up to completion. You will need to establish trusting relationships with Australian Apprentices (AA) and employers to ensure high quality end-to-end advice and support, improve retention, completion and satisfaction rates, and minimise the administrative burden of AAs and employers.Key Responsibilities1. Sign-up
- Administer sign-ups face-to-face (including electronically), resulting in completed Training Contracts signed by all parties.
- Provide consistent, accurate information on apprenticeship conditions, rights, obligations, qualifications, and training providers.
- Lodge Training Contracts with the relevant authority, confirm incentive eligibility, issue payment schedules, and guide on claims.
- Meet minimum monthly sign-up targets.
- Assess suitability of Australian Apprentices (AAs) for the apprenticeship.
- Conduct LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy, Digital) checks.
- Perform risk assessments on likelihood of successful completion.
- Check ADMS for flagged employers and assess their support needs.
- Record and report outcomes in line with standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools and key employers.
- Deliver services to agreed standards within an account management approach.
- Identify business growth opportunities.
- Monitor customer satisfaction via Net Promoter Score.
- Evaluate interest in Mentoring and Support Services at sign-up to aid completion.
- Conduct Progress Contacts where mentoring services have not been received.
- An understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship System is preferred.
- Proven ability to build rapport with key-stakeholders, including but not limited to Australian Apprentices, Employers, the Department and State or Territory Training Authorities.
- Strong communication, liaison and networking capabilities.
- Proficient skills in MS Office, and the ability to use external computer-based databases.
- The ability to interpret Government guidelines and related VET legislation.
- Business development experience highly regarded.
- A satisfactory police record check and current Working with Children Check (Employee) is a requirement of the role
- A current and valid driver's licence is a requirement for this position
