This role is for you!Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service (ESMHS) is looking for a suitably experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team of Clinical Nurse Consultants working within the Emergency Department (ED) and Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC) at Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. - Sound knowledge and experience of assessing persons within an acute environment
- Demonstrated understanding of nursing processes and their contributions to best practice principles
- Proven clinical leadership skills in within the Mental Health program
- Demonstrated ability to conduct a thorough Mental Health assessment., including formulation and development of immediate management plans and strategies
- Competency in the use of information and communication technology, including standard office software, for email, internet searches, analysis of clinical data, presentations and clinical documentation
- Excellent verbal communication skills and be proficient at documenting the outcome of assessments contemporaneously
