- Monitor industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and threats.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders including industry partners, government agencies, and relevant organisations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to inform the development of divisional strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute engagement plans aimed at enhancing industry relationships and promoting the interests of members.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and forums, effectively communicating the vision and advocating for all members.
- Develop and implement membership growth strategies, leveraging industry insights and relationships to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to members, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them navigate industry challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop content and messaging that positions the organisation as the leading authority in the motor industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of industry dynamics, trends, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse complex issues, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management and partnership development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
