But when it happens underground on your street, it's the Water Corporation Civil Operator who keeps the taps flowing for everyone.As a Civil Operator, you're more than a tradie!You're a key part of the community, working outdoors, using your hands and head to keep the water network running smoothly.From digging trenches to restoring burst mains, you'll be doing work that matters, every single day.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Contributing to safe job planning, team discussions, and regular workplace inspections.
  • Prioritising safety in every task, working with a zero-harm mindset where no injury is acceptable, and health and wellbeing are never compromised.
  • Operating, maintaining, monitoring, and repairing water and wastewater infrastructure, operational sites, and public facilities as needed.
  • Being available for overtime and participating in the on-call roster when required.

  • Has strong problem-solving skills and a practical mindset
  • Can quickly familiarise themselves with the regional layout and pipeline network

  • Your full-time roster will consist of a 9-day fortnight, meaning every second week you will have a 3-day weekend (RDO) to enjoy doing the things you love.

  • Western Australian ā€œCā€ Class and 'HR' Class Drivers Licence
  • Experience in civil work and/or water supply systems.
  • Certificate III in National Water Package otherwise willing to undertake the traineeship.
